Abstract

The article presents the results of the author's research of official sites and their role in promoting tourist services in national parks of the Russian Federation. The analysis showed that at the time of the study, 49 out of 63 national parks had fully functioning and information-
filled sites of protected areas. 10 criteria for their assessment were identified: availability / absence of the possibility of purchasing a ticket online, the possibility of booking a place of residence online; the ability to instantly contact online with a representative of the protected
areas (chat bot availability); up-to-date information, content update; versions of the site for multilingual  users;  integrated  geoservice  of  protected  areas;  information  about  souvenir products; feedback on visits to protected areas; integration of the site of protected areas with
social networks; ease of site navigation, clear structure and clear interface. The carried out assessment of the compliance of the sites with the selected criteria indicates that the management of specially protected natural areas does not fully use them as a means of promo-
tion. Most of the sites are not up to date. To solve this problem, it is required to develop a unified, intuitive structure of the site of the protected areas, as well as a step-by-step guide to promoting tourism services.
Keywords: specially protected natural areas (SPNA), national park, official site of protected
